Developing one’s speaking voice is just as important as developing one’s singing voice. We offer well-rounded voice lessons at Broadway Kids Studio. Our voice instructors will not only teach each student the proper breathing techniques, but also show them how to warm up correctly and choose music that suits their vocal style. No genre is left behind. We have professional voice instructors that teach classical, pop, musical theater, and jazz styles. Private lessons and group classes are available for both children and adults at Broadway Kids Studio.

Group Voice - This class is a group class focused on the enhancement of the vocal capabilities of each student. Students will learn the proper breathing techniques and the correct ways to warm-up before a performance. Students will perform both group songs and solos. In addition, our professional instructors will help select music that best compliments the vocal style, range, and genre of each student. Students enrolled in this class will also have the opportunity to participate in Broadway Kids Studio’s annual recital.

Star Performers Workshop - Star Performers Workshop is a preparatory class for our Star Performers touring group. Students will learn proper singing technique, how to handle a microphone and how to have great stage presence. Students will also work on increasing their repertoire with a variety of solo song selections. This class is great for any student who wishes to audition for Star Performers Touring Group, or wants more performance experience.

Triple Threat - Triple Threat is a musical theater class that combines singing, dancing, and acting all into one class. This is a great introductory class for students who enjoy all the aspects of the performing arts. The class includes basic jazz technique, jazz combinations, vocal warm-ups, singing, and acting. This class is open to all ages and skill levels. Students enrolled in this class will also have the opportunity to participate in Broadway Kids Studio’s annual recital. 

AUDITION AND PERFORMANCE OPPORTUNITIES

Broadway Kids Studio holds auditions for both musicals and plays throughout the year.  We perform most productions on-site at our very own Black Box Theater which seats up to 80. Some select performances are held at larger theaters. This includes our annual recitals.  Check at Broadway Kids Studio and on the home page in the latest news and upcoming events for information on upcoming auditions and productions.

Private Lessons are also available in all singing styles. Broadway Kids Studio has successfully prepared students for auditions for productions, commercials, movies, and scholarships in both middle schools and high schools. Students enrolled in private lessons will also have the opportunity to participate in Broadway Kids Studio’s annual recital.
